KP Health secretary Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah said that provincial authorities have begun Covid-19 testing of passengers arriving from the United Kingdom. He said that 38 tests have been conducted so far with two positive cases.
"Samples of the [coronavirus] positive individuals have been sent to the National Institute of Health in Islamabad for further testing and the affected individuals have been isolated at their homes," said Shah.
He said that testing will continue for passengers arriving from the UK.
