ABBOTTABAD, Oct 4: At least 12 passengers of a Rawalpindi-bound bus died and another 48 injured on Tuesday morning when a bus fell into deep ditch near Koza Gali. The bus bearing the number plate AJKC-2173 departed from Ayubia and was on its way to Rawalpindi. When the vehicle approached a curved stretch of road near the village of Ayubia-Aliaa, it skidded and fell into a deep ditch.

The accident resulted in the instant deaths of passengers Mumtaz, Irfan, Khawas Bibi, Abdul Wahid, Irshad, Hafeez Ameen, Abdul Hassan, Hanif-ur-Rehman, Ershad, Muhammad Zaman, Mehtab and Abdul Aziz.
