Swimmers, athletes for Bangkok

ISLAMABAD, Oct 4: Pakistani swimming and athletics teams will compete in the first Asian Indoor Games in Bangkok next month.

Azam Dar, a spokesman for the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) said on Tuesday that both men and women will fight for honours in the two disciplines.

The organisers of the Games that are slated to run from Nov 12 to 19 have asked for entries-by-name to be submitted by Oct 12.

The selection trials have already been held and the national selectors are likely to finalise their respective squads shortly.
