KARACHI, Oct 3: High professional standard has made Pakistan Army stronger to defend the homeland against any aggression. This was stated by Major-General Ovais Mushtaq Qureshi while speaking as chief guest at the parade of recruits at the Ordnance Corps Centre on Monday.

He called upon the recruits to realize their responsibilities and continuously maintain and enhance their professional skills which they had acquired during the training. He asked them to work hard with a focussed professional approach to meet the challenges of future battlefield.

Earlier, Major-General Ovais Mushtaq Qureshi took salute of the march past of the recruits. He also gave awards to the recruits, who exhibited their outstanding performance during the training.

Recruit Rashid Jameel received first position in SMT Category while recruit Shahid Ameen got first position in Driver Category. Recruit Allah Ditta remained overall best.

A large number of officers, men and relatives of the passing-out recruits attended the parade. —APP
