LAHORE, Oct 2: The UET on Sunday held an entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS classes in Punjab medical colleges. The UET had designated the five examination centres across the province for the purpose — the UET main campus, Lahore, the Siddique Public High School, Rawalpindi, the Bahauddin Zakariya University Engineering College, Multan, the Islamia University Engineering College, Bahawalpur, and the Agriculture University, Faisalabad.

A total of 12,802 candidates appeared for the test. Out of them, 6,194 appeared in Lahore, 2,774 in Rawalpindi, 2,120 in Multan, 1,171 in Faisalabad and 543 in Bahawalpur.

The result is expected within a week which will be displayed at the UET official website www.uet.edu.pk in addition to sending result cards individually to all entrants.—Staff Reporter
