Sindh reports 1,423 new cases, 12 deaths from Covid-19

1,423 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, taking the provincial tally to 170,206, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Twelve more people lost their lives due to the virus, with Sindh's death toll climbing to 2,897.

A total of 12,226 tests were carried out during the last 24 hours in Sindh, showing a positivity rate of 11.6 per cent, which Shah termed "dangerous".
