KARACHI: The body of a youth was found hanging from Jam Sadiq Bridge in the Korangi Industrial Area on Sunday, according to police and rescue services.

They said that it seemed that 22-year-old Sohail had committed suicide by hanging himself from the bridge with the help of a rope.

Area police officer said that the deceased originally hailed from Rawalpindi. He come to the city on Saturday afternoon and stayed at the house of his elder brother, who works in the Pakistan Navy, in Korangi.

Quoting the elder brother, the police officer said that Sohail left his brother’s house on Saturday night and in the morning his body was found hanging from the bridge.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a post-mortem examination.
