ISLAMABAD, Sept 30: An under-17 coaching clinic organised by National Bank began at the Army Stadium in Rawalpindi where former Olympian Rana Mujahid will be giving useful tips to the boys.

35 players from Rawalpindi are attending the weeklong clinic that follows similar ones organised in Karachi, Quetta, Hyderabad and Sheikhupura.

The aim of the clinic is to spot talent and to promote the game at the grassroots level.

“We will be informing the PHF of the talented players who we think can make it to big time hockey,” said Rana who is also one of the coaches with the national team.

At the clinic, the players are being provided free shirts, hockey sticks and other equipment.
