DERA MURAD JAMALI: Armed men killed a man and his son and a mutilated body of an unidentified man was found in Usta Muhammad, Jaffarabad district, on Tuesday.

Police said that unidentified assailants barged into the house of one Palyo Khan Jamali in the Cattle Farm area and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Mr Palyo and his 18 years old son Mohammad Din Jamali.

“The victims received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot,” the SHO of Cattle Farm police station said.

Police shifted the bodies to the district hospital, Dera Allahyar, for autopsy.

Police said that the cause of the killing was an old enmity.

Police conducted raids for the arrest of the killers. However, no arrest has been reported so far.

Meanwhile, police said that the mutilated body of an unidentified man was found near the football stadium in Usta Muhammad.

Police shifted the body to the hospital for identification.

“The body seems to be at least 15 days old and the post-mortem has revealed that the man was strangled to death,” police said.
