KARACHI: Bounce Club of District East outplayed Karachi Basketball Club of District South 60-43 in the final to lift the Inter-district Rashid Minhas Basketball trophy in style in front of a sizeable crowd here at the Aramabagh-Abdul Nasir courts on Sunday night.

Brilliant Talha Khattak led the attack for the winners with 18 points and was assisted well by Mohsin Ali (12 pt), Rehaab Khan and Mubashir Hussain scored 10 points each. For the losing side, Asad Imam, Engr Zainul Abideen played well to score 10 points each.

Sports patron and PSWA President Shahida Parveen Kiyani was the chief guest in the final and distributed the trophy and prizes among the players and teams on behalf of Pakistan Air Force.

PTF’s Khalid Shamsi and KBBA head Ghulam Mohammad also thanked PAF chief Air Marshall Mujahid Anwar Khan for his tremendous support through the tournament. They also lauded DC South Irshad Ali Sodhar for renovating the historic basketball courts for this tournament.
