HYDERABAD: Bukera police arrested four women nominated in a case lodged against them in Tando Allahyar on Monday.

The complainant said she was in her father’s house on Sunday when she heard cries outside. She said her brother-in-law (sister’s husband) Kaleem was beating her other sister, Rahila, aunt Noorjehan and niece Kashf.

She said that when she, along with her brothers, Sajjad Ali and Shaiq Ali, intervened in the matter, the suspect and his companios beat up them also.

She alleged that the suspect also tore off her clothes. The case was lodged against 19 persons, including some women.

She said that a dispute was going on between her sister Naila and husband Kaleem Khoso. She said she was taken to Tando Allahyar hospital for treatment from where she reached the police station to lodge the FIR. Four women nominated in the FIR have been arrested.
