The girls' hostel at Peshawar's Khyber Medical College has been sealed for two weeks after four students there tested positive for the coronavirus, a spokesperson for the college said.

The students, who started exhibiting symptoms two days ago, were quarantined in Khyber Teaching Hospital.

After the four cases, the college administration also collected samples of 198 other female students and staff for testing, whose results are awaited.

Test samples will also be taken of the 400-500 residents and staff of the boys' hostel at the college tomorrow, according to the spokesperson.
