ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Brigadier (retd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar called on Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Inter­national Airlines (PIA) Air Marshal Arshad Malik here on Wednesday.

According to PHF, during the meeting, the promotion of the national game and hockey affairs were discussed.

The resumption of the partnership between the PHF and the PIA was also discussed. A press release issued by PHF stated that PHF President while appreciating the valuable services rendered by PIA for Pakistan Hockey said that PIA had always played a significant role for promotion of hockey.

According to the press release, PIA chief executive Air Marshal Arshad Meh­mood Malik took the visit in a very positive manner and said: “We will try to solve all the problems faced by the PHF as hockey is our national game”.
