BUNER: The police have resolved the mystery behind murder of a 14-year-old girl by arresting her sister-in-law along with an alleged paramour.

Gagra police officials said the murder had taken place in Sastu Ghundy Kulyari area.

The officials said both of the accused confessed to committing the crime, saying the reason behind the murder was that the deceased had spotted them together.

SHO Noorzaman Tanha said father of the deceased informed the police that his daughter was stabbed to death and her body was thrown in maize fields. He charged his daughter-in-law for the murder of his daughter.

MEDICAL CAMP: The Acts of Kidneys Pakistan volunteers set up a free medical camp in Nanseer village of Salarazi area, treating 700 patients and screening another 300 for hepatitis B and C.

The camp was held at the hujra of PTI Labour Wing Malakand division president Malik Arshad Iqbal the other day.

A team comprising male and female doctors had arrived here from Islamabad.

The Malakand Task Force Commandant Brig Aamir Rasheed visited the camp and appreciated the efforts for conducting the activity in remote area. He awarded certificates to the team members and the PTI leader.

The PTI leader thanked the Acts of Kidneys Pakistan team for provision of healthcare facilities to the locals.

Meanwhile, a man was killed when a dumper plunged into ravine while unloading sand in Chaghorzai area the other day.

The victim was named driver Umer Zaman, 48, a resident of Koot village of Soray Chaghorzai union council.

The body was transported to Dewana Baba Hospital for fulfilling medico-legal formalities.
