Sialkot trounce Chakwal

LAHORE, Sept 22: Two goals each by Qamar and Javaid helped Sialkot beat Chakwal 7-0 in the fourth Sports Board Punjab Inter- district U-17 football championship at Faisalabad on Thursday. Qamar scored in the 3rd and the 47th minute while Javaid struck in the 10th and the 38th minute. Badar (12th), Awais (45th) and Irfan (58th) were the other scorers.

A hat trick by Asif Ali propelled Lahore to win 4-0 over Attock. Javaid (5th minute), Asif (20th, 55th, 57th) were the scorers.

Lodhran carved out 2-1 win against Layyah. Tariq (15th, Azmat (30th) scored for the winners. Zahoor (68th) reduced the margin for the losers.

Bhakkar thrashed Vehari 3-0 with Amir Hamza (10th), Bilal (45th) and Sanaullah (55th minutes) were the scorers. Two goals by Ishtiaq enabled Narowal to beat Kasur 4-1.

Ishtiaq banged home (12th, 21st minutes). Naveed (30th), Zahid (42nd) were the other scorers. Multan earned 4-1 win against Sahiwal.

Raza (45th), Tahir (47th), Rizwan (50th) and the Shakoor (54th) were the scorers. Asim slameed home in the 10th minute.

Mandi Bahauddin beat Sargodha 2-0. Tanvir (11th) and Shahid Ali (53rd) were the scorers.

Two goals by Usman helped Rawalpindi beat Gujrat 2-0. He struck in the 40th and the 50th minute.
