PESHAWAR: Pakistan Throwball Federation & KPK Throwball Association jointly organised throwball, rope skipping and rocball courses 2020 here from Sept 4-6 at the Baragali University Campus in Peshawar.

As many as 120 participants from all four provinces, departments, HEC including players, coaches, sports teachers, attended the courses.

The courses were conducted by Aisha Razzak, Ivan Fedrick, Abu Sufyan, Masoom Abbas, Fazal Qasir, Shariq Siddqui and Maqbool Arain who delivered lectures on all aspect of the three sports.

Later, ground drills were also demonstrated such as skills, footwork, techniques which were greatly appreciated by the participants.

Muhammad Razzaq Gill, President PTF and Faiza Amir, President Pakistan Women Throwball Association were the chief guests at the opening and closing ceremonies.

In this occasion Col. Nasir Tung, Secretary Boxing Federation, Adnan Vohra Vice President PTF, Arshad Hussain Secretary KP Throwball, and Ahmed Saleem, vice president Rope Skipping Federation were also present among the the distinguished guests.

At the conclusion of the courses, Maqbool Arain announced that the Pakistan throwball team will be participating in the 1st South Asian Throwball Championship 2021 at Bangladesh from March 27-30.
