Global deaths from the coronavirus have crossed 875,000, according to the Coronavirus Resource Center at the Johns Hopkins University.
The United States has recorded more than 187,000 deaths so far — the highest of any country in the world, followed by Brazil (125,502 fatalities) and India (69,561 fatalities).
