PIA signs agreement with Avis

Published September 20, 2005

KARACHI, Sept 19: The Pakistan International Airlines has signed an agreement with Avis, a global car rental company. Under the agreement, all PIA passengers will benefit from special discount rates when renting an Avis car in all countries where Avis operates. Members of the airline’s AwardsPlus programme will, in addition, be enjoying added benefits.

To obtain the agreed dis-counts, PIA passengers will have to show their PIA boarding pass to the Avis rental agent.

“We are delighted to have Avis on board,” said Farooq Shah, Pakistan International Airlines’ deputy managing director.

“This partnership with one of the world’s leading car rental companies gives PIA passengers a valuable new offering which we expect to be very popular amongst our customers,” he added.
