SHANGLA: The police department reshuffled station house officers (SHOs) and investigation officers (IOs) of different police stations across the district here on Friday.

A statement issued by the office of district police officer Asif Gohar said that 29 inspectors, sub-inspectors and assistant sub-inspectors had been transferred and posted in different police stations of Shangla district.

It said that SI Mohammad Saeed who was serving as IO at Dandai police station was transferred and posted as SHO at Aloch police station (PS), SI Mohammad Saleem appointed as IO at Dandai PS and inspector Fazal Elahi was transferred from Dandai police station and posted as SHO PS Bisham.

The statement said that Ajmal Khan was transferred from PS Bisham and posted as in-charge district security branch (DSB), Shangla, while Bakht Alam was transferred from DSB and given duty as SHO at PS Chakesar.

Mohammad Afzal was posted as SHO at PS Dandai whereas Mehboobur Rehman, additional SHO Dandai, posted as SHO Olandar.

It said that SI Mohammad Hussain was transferred from Olandar to Martung, inspector Mohammad Pervez from police lines was assigned duty as SHO at PS Martung, SI Liaquat Ali posted as ASHO PS Bisham, SI Sadiq Khan ASHO Alpuri, Shah Wadan ASHO Dandai, SI Said Mahmood SHO PS Chawga and Usman Munir SHO PS Chawga posted as IO Chawga.

Several ASIs were also transferred from one police station the other within the district.
