SIALKOT: As many as 1,00,000 saplings would be planted during a national tree plantation campaign to be launched in the district under the supervision of the Tiger Force.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar stated this while talking to the party workers at the Jinnah House Sialkot on Friday.

He said the provision of a pollution-free atmosphere to the next generations was the top priority of the government.

Terming it a national obligation, he said everyone should come forward to play a pivotal role for this noble cause.

Mr Dar said about 0.9m plants would be planted across the country during the tree plantation campaign.

CM: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will visit Sialkot on Sunday (tomorrow) to launch the tree plantation campaign in the district during a special ceremony near Sambrial-Sialkot.

Provincial Minister for Special Education Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq stated this while talking to newsmen. He said 100,000 saplings would be planted in the district during this campaign.
