The Ministry of Health has distributed nine metric tonnes of personal protective equipment to health workers in five major health facilities of Islamabad.
The PPEs have been distributed with aid from the Asian Development Bank and technical assistance from Unicef.
According to a press release, 10 kinds of protective equipment from the shipment were given to doctors, nurses and other medical staff working in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Polyclinic, National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, Federal Government Hospital and Capital Development Authority Hospital.
