290 projects completed in Attock

ATTOCK, Sept 17: A spokesperson for the finance and planning department said on Saturday that 290 development projects costing Rs222.7 million had so far been completed in Attock district. Work is presently going on in another 44 projects, the spokesman said.

Some 282 road projects have been completed at a cost of Rs112.4 million and another 33 others are nearing completion.

The spokesman said that three colleges had been constructed at a cost of Rs50.3 million. Work on another five colleges will also be completed soon.

The spokesman said that six projects in the health sector were also in process of completion. These included upgradation of five rural health centres in Rangoo, Bahtar, Domail, Chhab, and Maghian.

The spokesman said that all the schemes would be executed by the end of this year. —APP
