GUJRANWALA: The city police claimed on Friday to have arrested a man who allegedly raped four minor girls in Gujranwala and Sheikhupura.

According to City Police officer Rai Babar Saeed, a resident of Hafizabad Road lured a five-year-old girl to go with him to his house where he raped her.

The Baghbanpura police registered a case.

During interrogation, the man confessed that he raped minor girls at places he would lease in Gujranwala and Sheikhupura.

Police sent him behind bars after registering cases against him.

FOOD POINTS SEALED: The Punjab Food Authority on Friday sealed seven food points for selling substandard food items and disposed of substandard products.

PFA Director General Irfan Memon said that food safety teams sealed Hazir Nimko House for mixing substandard material, the dairy safety teams sealed Husnian Milk Shop and Mazhar Milk Shop for selling substandard milk in Pindi Bhattian.

Mubashar cold corner, Abrar cold corner, Umair general store and Baba Rizwan Hotel were also sealed for not paying previous fines.
