Pakistan witnessing decline in Covid-19 after enforcing 'smart lockdown': FM Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the country was witnessing a decline in Covid-19 cases after the steps taken by the government, especially the enforcement of 'smart lockdowns' in various cities, Radio Pakistan reported.

He expressed these views during a telephone conversation with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart.

Qureshi thanked the UAE foreign minister for inquiring about his health and apprised him about the current situation of the coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan.
