The Zhangjiajie municipal government has donated 20,000 surgical masks to Karachi to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a statement issued, Zhangjiajie Mayor Liu Gean handed over the masks to Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani at his office.
Speaking at the occasion, the commissioner said that the donation by the Zhangjiajie mayor will further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and would open the corridor of mutual relations between the two cities.
The mayor said he hoped the masks would contribute towards Karachi's fight against Covid-19.
