National Disaster Management Authority Chairman Lt Gen Mohammad Afzal said that work was being carried out to build intensive care units (ICUs) at several hospitals in different cities across the country, Radio Pakistan reported.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, the chairman said that 1,435 beds have been reserved for coronavirus patients. He added that medical kits were also being provided to doctors and paramedical staff.
