KARACHI: As a major step forward in implementing the set of reforms at the domestic level, the evaluation process of coaches in all the six regions will start from Wednesday (today).

As per the information available to this correspondent, a panel which includes Grant Bradburn, the newly appointed head of high-performance coaching, and Saqlain Mushtaq, the head of international player development, will have separate sessions of about 30 minutes each with coaches at all levels in every region.

The assessment of coaches in Sindh will be carried out today, followed by the same appraisal in Central Punjab on July 2nd.

Coaches in Southern Punjab, Northern, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan will be interviewed, via video link from July 3-6 respectively.

Separately, on a Youtube programme “Free Hit” last week, the High Performance Director Nadeem Khan had already said that appraisal of all regional coaches would be a three-dimensional exercise to evaluate every individual as aptly as possible.

“Coaches will be gauged with a three dimensional review. A form each has already been given to coaches to fill but besides that, input from fellow coaches as well as players will also be sought to complete the evaluation”, Nadeem Khan said.
