KARACHI: Pakistan’s international level basketball players Mohammad Idrees, who also captained Karachi in domestic tournaments, succumbed to death here on Saturday due to coronavirus.

A fine cager, Idrees was diagnosed with the virus three days back and was hospitalized. Idrees also served as manager and selector of Karachi teams as well as selector of Karachi Electric basketball outfit.

Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) has offered its condolences at the demise of the ex-player and have prayed for the departed soul.
