MANSEHRA, Sept 9: The NWFP chief minister and the Pakistan Muslim League leadership have agreed on the name of PML Deputy General Secretary Sardar Mohammad Yousaf as the consensus candidate for the post of Mansehra district nazim. According to sources, the decision about Sardar Yousaf’s candidature was taken in his meeting with PML leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed in Islamabad. They said the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Chief Minister Akram Durrani were also informed about the decision after the meeting.

They said some MIM leaders had reservations over the decision but an aide of Senator Swati called Sardar Yousaf and congratulated him on his nomination.
