In its recent report, Unesco has predicted that 10 per cent of museums around the world may never open again, even after the Covid-19 crisis is over.
The report also states that the pandemic, that has pushed many countries into imposing restrictions on movement in order to curb the spread of the virus, has forced 90pc of the museums to close their doors to visitors.
