The Sindh government has decided to build six infectious diseases hospitals, according to Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah. He was chairing a meeting of the health department alongside health minister Azra Pechuho.
According to the health minister, special consultants will be hired for the hospitals. She added that a 400-bed infectious diseases hospital will soon be made functional in Karachi.
"An institute for training paramedical staff will also be set up," she said.
