Bahria Town has paid its employees a reduced amount of their salaries for the month of April citing the prevailing coronavirus situation.
According to a circular, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, those who are paid Rs50,000 or less did not have any deduction, those who are paid up to Rs100,000 had 20 per cent deducted while those paid up to Rs300,000 and above Rs300,000 had 40pc and 50pc of their salaries deducted respectively.
The deduction was applicable to all employees except those working in hospitals, the circular stated.
