KHAIRPUR: 32 booked for cutting trees

KHAIRPUR, Sept 1: Thirty-two farmers were booked in an FIR lodged at the Gambat police station under section 14 on Wednesday. Complainant Khadim Panhwar of the irrigation department lodged the FIR against the farmers, alleging that they were involved in cutting 65 trees worth millions of rupees from Abul Wah RD-7 to RD-15 and Sarohi minor.

The accused include Sardar Bux Jagirani, Qadan Jagirani, Laiq, Gulan, Sikandar, Liaquat, Zulfiqar, Dost Mohammad, Nawab, Subhan, Qurban, Ghulam Shabbir, Ghulam Mustafa, Arbelo and Ali Mardan.
