Sportsmanship Award

LAHORE, Aug 31: The Pakistan Youth bridge team was awarded Sportsmanship Award in its first-ever participation in a world level tournament recently held in Sydney, Australia.

A spokesman for the Pakistan Bridge Federation said that the award was presented to the team before the final round of qualifying.

The spokesman said that the chairman of the WBF Youth Committee Mr Panos Gerontopoulos in his closing address said that he welcomed Zone 4 and the young Pakistani team.

The Pakistani team consisted of Fehmina Hussain NPC, Shahzeb, Hyder, Hassan, Oosman Fuzan and Zain — all students from Aitchison College Lahore.
