Chinese firm sends medical items to Balochistan

QUETTA: A Chinese company has sent medical gear, including N95 masks, safety kits, testing kits and medicines for Balochistan.

A C-130 aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force brought the 11,000-pound consignment of medical items to Quetta on Monday.

The consignment was sent by the Meteoro­logical Construction Corporation (MCC) of China and it was received by the National Disaster Management Authority in Islamabad the other day.

Humayun Mehmood, Vice President of MCC Resources Development Corporation Private Limited (MRDL) which is running the Saindak Copper-Cum-Gold Project, handed over the consignment to Ataullah Langove, a senior official of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority.
