Pepco injustice

Published March 26, 2020

EVERY year the Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) would conduct departmental examinations for the promotion of electrical and civil engineers from BPS-18 to BPS-19. However, this year this exam, which was to start from March 17 was postponed owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The cancellation of the exam will be a loss for some WAPDA officers as some of them will retire in 2020. It is every engineer’s wish to retire on the maximum post possible. The PEPCO authorities need to give consideration to this issue
