KARACHI, Aug 26: A comprehensive plan is underway for the development of all the departments of the Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST).

This was announced by FUUAST Vice-Chancellor Dr Syed Iqbal Mohsin.

Dr Mohsin was of the view that without the promotion of higher education and research in science disciplines, the desired results could not be achieved.

A Russian professor Dr Valery Arkan and a professor of King Fahad University, Jeddah, Khursheed Athar Khan, read their papers on the occasion.

The seminar was attended by a number of teachers of the University of Karachi and those of the FUUAST.—APP
