QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that his government will not succumb to pressure of opposition parties.

Speaking in the Balochistan Assembly on Monday, the chief minister criticised the opposition for its agitation politics and said the assembly floor was the most suitable forum for highlighting issues.

“Assembly is an important forum where the treasury members hear issues of opposition members and try to address them earnestly,” he said.

Mr Alyani said his government was utilising all resources to solve the problems of people. “During the past 18 months, opposition parties failed to find any flaw in government policies but remained busy in spreading rumours,” he said.
