MIRPURKHAS: Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed accompanied by justices of the Supreme Court and chief justice and other judges of Sindh High Court is scheduled to participate in oath-taking ceremony of newly elected office-bearers of Mirpurkhas district bar association on Saturday.

Police have made strict security arrangements at the district and sessions court where the ceremony would take place and the district administration has ensured removal of encroachments along the route the chief justice will take to reach the court.

Assistant commissioners of Mirpurkhas and Hussain Bux Marri talukas were busy having encroachments removed from main roads.

On Friday, DIG Saqib Ismail Memon and SSP Javed Baloch arrived in the district court to inspect security arrangements and discuss security measures with sessions judge and president of bar association Jan Ali Junejo. The two expressed satisfaction over the proposed security plan.
