Enertech solar tariff

Published February 15, 2020

QUETTA: Enertech Quetta Solar has set a tariff of $3.76 per kWh for its 500 megawatt solar project in Balochistan.

This is the lowest tariff determined for independent power projects (IPP) in the history of Pakistan, the company claimed.

As the first renewable project in Balochistan, this will have an impact on the perception of the province as an investor friendly province with immense renewable energy potential, the company said, adding its future goal includes development of solar power projects near Lasbela and Kharan.
