NEW YORK, Aug 21: Pakistan People’s Party leader Asif Ali Zardari arrived here on Saturday to continue treatment of his heart condition, informed sources here told Dawn.

He is expected to enter a New York hospital on Monday for further tests to determine options on treating his condition. He could either undergo a bypass surgery or have more stents placed in his heart.

Last month Mr Zardari travelled to New York to consult doctors and specialists about his heart problems, which had compounded after a heart attack in Dubai. Mr Zardari had stents placed in his heart.
