KARACHI: City Nazim’s assurance

KARACHI, Jan 16: The city Nazim, Naimatullah Khan, has promised that he will do his best to ensure that the members of Karachi Press Club get residential plots in Hawkesbay Scheme on the terms agreed to by the previous governments.

He gave the assurance during a visit to KPC on Wednesday.

The Nazim also announced that from next year the city government will institute awards for the best photographer and cartoonist.

Earlier, the president of KPC, Khursheed Tanvir, apprised the Nazim of the point of view of the office-bearers and members of the KPC vis-a-vis the allotment of residential plots in the Hawkesbay.—APP
