LARKANA: Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, on Friday held meetings with party office-bearers and workers of Ratodero, Akil and Naudero at Naudero House and discussed issues pertaining to the PPP’s reorganisation, pace of development works and preparation for local government elections.

Bilawal discussed the party affairs with the workers and said that only workers would decide future MNAs and MPAs because they were the real asset of the party, said sources privy to the meetings.

He met MNAs, MPAs and members of the party’s district body and sought input from workers about the party matters and development. Workers were jan-nisars of the party and “we cannot afford to ignore development in their areas,” he said.

He said that he was proud of workers of Ratodero who had always stood by the party and Akil activists were close to his heart. Therefore, he could not compromise on their development and progress.

The office-bearers of all sister organisations of the party also attended the meeting and discussed with their leader the PPP’s reorganisation.

Bilawal remained busy all day long in meetings with workers during his stay in Naudero. Later, he went to Bhuttos’ mausoleum and offered Fateha on the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto and laid wreaths on their graves.

He then went to Larkana city and offered condolence to Mayor Khair Mohammad Shaikh on the death of his brother.
