Wonder Craft: Spinning heart card

Making handmade cards is not only fun, but also a way to bring out your hidden skills or creativity. Although you can buy cards for any occasion from the book or stationary shop, handmade cards have no match because. Today, we are making a card with a spinning heart; you can give away to your family or friends on any special occasion.

Things you need:

  1. Black A-4 sized paper

  2. A piece of wrapping paper (in a contrasting colour with the black paper)

  3. Glue stick

  4. Scissors

  5. Four-inch string

  6. A small piece of red paper to make a heart

Directions:

  1. Two-fold the black A-4-sized paper in a card shape, leaving one inch from top, draw a two-inch circle and cut it out carefully, leave it aside, picture 2.

  2. Draw heart on the red piece of paper (size should be under 1.5-inches). You need two hearts of the same size, picture 3

  3. Cut out the heart and paste glue in the centre, picture 4.

  4. Glue string in the centre of the heart, and paste the other heart over it, pictures 5 and 6.

  5. Carefully paste or tape the string with a heart in the middle of the now hollow circle in the card as in picture 7. The string should be tight and not lose.

  6. Cut out the front of the card from the wrapping paper with a hollow circle as you did earlier on the black paper, picture 8.

  7. Paste the wrapping paper

carefully on top of the black card, picture 9.

  1. Fold the string on any side and leave it there before presenting it to anyone, picture 10.

The card is ready, write your message or decorate the way you like, when the card will be opened the heart will spin very fast.
