KARAK: The parents have demanded of the authorities to fulfill the vacant posts of teachers in the government girls degree college, Karak Township.
Ashraf Khan, Zar Wali Khan, Awal Ayaz and others told media men here on Saturday that the majority of girl students were forced to seek admission in far-off colleges due to shortage of staff in their own college.
The parents noted that the strength of students was on the decline due to shortage of teachers, particularly subject specialists, thanks to the government neglect.
They further complained that there was also shortage of drinking water in the college. They said the college’s lone bus was out of order and demanded that the government provide another bus for pick and drop of students.
They added that the college’s transport facility should also be extended to Chountra area.
