KARACHI: The National Men and Women Netball Championships will commence from Feb 27 here at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
This was stated by the president of the Pakistan Netball Federation Mudassar Arain on Wednesday.
Pakistan Army will defend both their titles in the championships.
Mudassar added that 16 teams from all over the country have been invited for participation in the championships including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Airforce, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Wapda. Pakistan Police, Higher Education Commission, Fata, LUMS, Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan Inter-Board, AJK, Sindh, KPK, LGS, Balochistan and Islamabad.
The quarter-finals and semifinals of the two championships will be played on Feb 28 and March 1 respectively while the finals will be played on March 2. After the finals matches trophies, medals and certificates will be awarded to the winning teams.
