KARACHI: The second Commissioner Karachi City Marathon will be held on Sunday (today) in the metropolis.

Over 5,000 people have registered for the marathon including children, women and senior citizens. The 10-km race has been dubbed as ‘run for fun’.

The number of the participants might increase as spot registration would also be carried at the Moin Khan Stadium, DHA, the starting and terminating point of the 10-km race that would kick off at 10:00am.

The reporting time is 8:00am while the registration would be conducted from 8:30am to 9:30am.

Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani said that it is the second successive year of the event which would help more and more people to take up healthy activities and build a healthy society.
