RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has constituted an 11-member committee to restore construction activities in Murree and it will also prepare recommendations for changes to the building bylaws and rules.

Deputy Commissioner Saifullah Dogar will head the committee comprising Murree Municipal Committee administrator, Murree Cantonment Executive Officer, Murree Assistant Commissioner, Representative of Station Commander Murree, Deputy Director Environment Protection Agency, Soil Conservation Officer of Department of Agriculture and Sub-Divisional Officer of Highway Department.

The committee will decide cases which were approved before Nov 7but the construction has not started. The committee is bound to implement all the rules and regulations.
