CHAGAI: Two Kuwaiti citizens and their three Pakistani facilitators, who were taken into custody for illegal hunting intentions two days ago, were released on Thursday night after they paid the fine imposed by a local court of Nushki.

According to official sources, Kuwaiti citizens Muhammad Hamd Salim and Ali Muhammad Manahi and their local facilitators were taken into custody by the Frontier Corps at Padag check-post while they were on their way to Dalbandin.

Later, the divisional forest officer of Chagai, Abdul Qadir Jamali, lodged an FIR under the Wildlife Act, 2014, against the detained people claiming recovery of the hunting equipment from their luggage.

The Kuwaiti citizens and their facilitators were produced in the court where Judicial Magistrate of Dalbandin, Rozi Khan, imposed Rs20,000 fine on each detained person.
