Musharraf case

Published December 31, 2019

THE former president Pervez Musharraf has been awarded death sentence for declaring emergency and holding the constitution in abeyance.

We are a strange country where people pursuing their greed and selfish ends can get away by breaking Quaid’s Pakistan into half and are not charged with treason, but are held as national heroes.

A violation of the constitution is considered as a graver crime compared to breaking the country into half. Mistakes in the constitution can be rectified or modified but if a part of Pakistan is lost, it is a permanent loss.

LIBERALS are praising the special court’s death sentence for Pervez Musharraf but they are signing a petition to remove blasphemy law from the constitution.

What kind of hypocrites are they who want to kill someone for disrespecting the constitution, but want to save those who disrespect Islam?
